The 2013 Spring Seminar features Steve Vernon, FSA, president of Rest-of-Life Communications as the keynote speaker, and Caroline Turner, workshop facilitator, speaker and consultant as the luncheon speaker.  In addition there are five hours of breakout sessions organized in four tracks highlighting Health & Welfare, Retirement, Legal and Emerging Issues.

Money for Life: How to Help Your Employees Avoid Going Broke in Retirement with Steve Vernon, FSA

Our keynote speaker will inform and entertain you about one of the most critical issues in the retirement industry today - how to use retirement savings to generate a reliable, lifetime retirement income. Steve will share effective, realistic strategies for these critical issues. He’ll also summarize the main points from his latest book, Money for Life: Turn Your IRA and 401(k) Into a Lifetime Retirement Paycheck, and cover the critical topic of how retirement professionals frame the decisions that individuals must make and how to focus their attention on the most significant issues. Using an effective mix of humor, stories, video clips, photos, cartoons, music, and solid actuarial analysis, Steve offers insights that will surprise and inspire you.

Each registrant will receive a free copy of Steve's latest book

Solving the Generations Puzzle with Caroline Turner
Members of one generation may have always judged or been puzzled by members of the generations that come before and after their own. This session is for members of multigenerational teams who want to move from judging to understanding. With understanding comes the ability to appreciate differences and put them to work. Caroline Turner’s business is about helping managers and leaders appreciate and leverage difference. She is an expert in generational and gender differences in the workplace. Participants will improve their understanding of the differences in values, perspective and behaviors of Traditionals, Baby Boomers, Generation X and Millennials and gain ideas on how to work with differences that have previously puzzled them.
