As a leading Affordable Care Act service provider with a large portfolio of clients from varying industries, Ernst & Young (EY) has learned many valuable lessons by navigating through the first effective year of the ACA Employer Mandate and IRS reporting requirements. During this session, Tom Bernard, the Pacific Northwest Leader of EY's Affordable Care Act team, will share insights and thoughts to better prepare for year two and beyond.
As with any legislation, the ACA world is complex and ever changing. What are some things employers can do from both a plan design perspective and an internal audit perspective to better ensure compliance with this requirement? Presenter Thomas Bernard, Executive Director, Ernst & Young, is the National Director of Strategic Initiatives for the Affordable Care Act Practice and the West Region Leader of EY's Workforce Services. The Workforce Services practice focuses on delivering services related to the Affordable Care Act, Employer Tax Credits, Unemployment Claims and Employment Tax Advisory.
